CHARLOTTE — Part of Interstate 85 South was closed early Sunday morning after a multi-vehicle crash near Concord.
Paramedics said at least seven vehicles were involved in a crash near Exit 48 just before the merger onto Interstate 485. That portion of the road was closed because of the crash until around 7:30 a.m.
Three people were transported with minor injuries, according to paramedics.
MEDIC was on scene with Cabarrus County EMS, CMPD, CFD and Concord Police.
