Concord put all of Division 1 on notice in the opening week and made sure everyone knew they were not going anywhere. In the season opener The Tide took on HNIB News preseason #1 pick, Windham and rolled to a decisive 5-1 victory. Concord had a balanced scoring attack as five different players scored. Tyler Morin started the scoring off a feed from Jaden Hass. Haas then potted a goal of his own. Dawson Fancher, Rowan Arndt, and Tyler Fennelly also found the back of the net for Concord. Casey Kramer had the only goal for Windham.
Concord outshot Windham 24-17 and Tide goaltender Luukas Mayer made his starting debut turning all but one shot aside. Concord finished the week exactly as they started it, with a solid win. The Tide took care of Trinity by a score of 6-2. Luukas Mayer had 13 saves in the win. Concord goal scorers included Cam Chandonnet with two, Cam Roy, Jack Shoemaker, Rowan Arndt, and Jaden Haas. Chad Lariviere had three assists and Roy had two helpers for Concord.
Bishop Guertin began their title defense in fine fashion by taking out Keene 3-1 to open their season. The Blackbirds started the scoring in the opening period when Chris Truman notched his first goal of the year from Collin French. From there the Cardinals took over and never looked back. Isaac Idarraga tied the game on a shot that found the five hole on the Keene tendy. James Mantone gave Guertin the lead in the second period and Noah Cordiero finished off the scoring in the third.
It took overtime but Bishop Guertin moved to 2-0 on the young season after knocking off Hanover on Saturday night, 3-2. Jordan O’Hearn scored in overtime to seal the win for BG. James Mantone and Isaac Idarraga tallied for Bishop Guertin. Hanover’s third period rally fell just short despite goals by Ryder Wilson and Wyatt Seelig. Jorgen Drent stood tall in net for Hanover making 29 saves.
Windham was able to even its record at 1-1 after beating Bedford 3-1 to close out the opening week. The Jaguars fell earlier in the week to Concord but rebounded nicely against the Bulldogs. Sam Kramer, Rocco Mancini, and Nate Crowley scored and goalie Roberto Robles made 29 saves for the Jaguars. Bedford’s lone goal came from Parker O’Toole. Tristan Kerr made 25 saves for Bedford in the loss.
Bedford forward Dom Tagliferro’s breakaway goal in overtime gave the Bulldog’s their first win of the season in dramatic fashion. Brian Riccio also scored for Bedford off a rebound from Dylan Riccio. For Hanover, Ryder Wilson sniped a late third period goal for Hanover to send the game into overtime.

Londonderry stormed out to a 4-0 lead over Salem in its first game of the season en route to a 4-1 win. Londonderry scorers included Owen Carey, Jayden Hamilton, Brett McKinnon, and Brendan Fitzgerald. Max Condon had the lone tally for Salem. Colby Savageau had 34 saves for the Blue Devils. James Kircaldie got the win between the pipes for the Lancers turning away 24 shots.
Londonderry continued their hot start by doubling up Exeter at home, 6-3. Owen Carey had a hat trick and an assist while Michael Maloney added two goals and an assist. Nick Bishop added a goal. Lancer goaltender James Kircaldie stopped 26 shots to improve his record to 2-0. Exeter’s Eddie Hannan, Callum Howarth, and Cam Keaveney each scored a goal in the loss. Charlie Mozina made 22 saves in the loss.
The loss to Londonderry evened Exeter’s record at 1-1. Earlier in the week they took on Bow and came away with a 4-2 win on their home ice. Bow opened up an early 2-0 lead on goals by Luke Hartshorn and Owen Webber. The Falcons’ lead wouldn’t hold up as Exeter came roaring back with four goals in the third period to get the win. Cam Keaveney, Eddie Hannan, Max Givetz and Callum Howarth scored for the Blue Hawks. Charlie Mozina stopped 25 shots for the win. Mason Marquis also had 25 saves in the loss.
Salem opened with a 4-1 loss to Londonderry but rebounded with a solid 4-1 win over Nashua South-Pelham. Max Condon registered a hat trick and Ben Chisholm added one in the Blue Devils win. Eliot Chisolm, Luke Barton, and Owen Doherty all notched assists. Colby Savageau had 15 saves for the win.
Manchester Kings Co-op started the season 2-0 after knocking off Nashua South-Pelham 3-1 and Bishop Brady-MV-CCA, 4-0. In their opening game against Nashua South-Pelham, Gavin Asimakoupoulos opened the scoring for Nashua South/Pelham in the first period, but Cameron Provencher knotted the game at one. Frank Tessier and Lukas Tafe also scored. Cam Velez made his first varsity start for Manchester, finishing with 25 saves overall.
Nashua High School North-Souhegan routed Bishop Brady-MV-CCA, 10-0 in new Nashua coach Chris Zarlenga’s debut. Jacob Landry led the way with four goals and three assists. Callen Cullity added two goals and an assist. Chase McBride had a goal and four assists. Kyle D’Silva, Chris Holland and Jevon Anson all registered goals. Zach Veilleux stopped all the shots he faced while Justin Doyle was busy turning away 42 shots in the loss for the Brady co-op.
DIVISION 2
Merrimack edged Somersworth/Coe-Brown in their season opener, 1-0. Eliot Medlock’s breakaway goal was the difference in the game. Later in the week Merrimack traveled north to take on Mon-Fall Mountain. Medlock had a natural hat trick and Conor Dunn and Joshua Kohn each added two goals. Joey Raymond, Cam Bellemore and Jackson Woods all tallied for the Tomahawks who moved to 2-0 on the season.
Winnacunnet took on Portsmouth in their opening game and rolled to a 7-0 shutout victory. Brayden Emery had three goals for the Warriors. Nolan Rennie, Alec Mitchell, Tyler Blank and Brock Emery all scored for Winnacunnet. Brady Thompson had two assists, while Ian McCormack, Brayden Emery, Drew Marelli, Cayden Dion all had one. Winnacunnet netminder Owen Helton had 15 saves. In rare, late Sunday night action, Winnacunnet toppled Oyster River 5-3 to move to 2-0 on the young season.
Oyster River got goals from Cole Levesque and Talon Beyer in their 2-1 defeat of defending champion, Dover Green Wave. Beyer and Nick Dreher both had an assist in the win. Dover’s Carter Bell found the back of the net for the Wave’s only tally. Oyster River goalie Harper Hubbard had 22 saves.
Somersworth/Coe-Brown was able to even its record at 1-1 after taking care of Timberlane, 6-2. Aidan Tibbetts, Giovanni Green, and Matt Bayko all had a goal and an assist for the Bearcats. Tully Keefe, AJ Kozlowski, and Mateo Damren all scored for Somersworth/Coe-Brown. Caleb Jobin secured the win making 12 saves.
Dover fell behind 3-0 to Saint Thomas early in the first period but battled back and came away with a 4-3 win against their cross-town rival. The Saints stormed out of the gate getting two unassisted goals from Jackson Estes. Thomas Edgerly scored the Saints next goal with the assist going to Estes. Dover’s Kyle Behan started the tsunami of Dover goals when he put one past Saints goaltender Eli Allaire (42 saves). Caleb Marasca’s snipe opened the scoring in the third period. Carter Bell tied it late in the third and Owen Culcasi put Dover ahead with just over a minute left in the game. JP Alander had 20 saves in the win.
Saint Thomas came into that game 0-1 after falling 4-3 to Spaulding for the first time in over a decade. Drew Tremblay’s second goal with just over seven minutes left in the game sealed the win for the Red Raiders. Ryan Dube and Trevor Brennan also put home goals. The Saints’ Brandon McCaughey, Logan Lemieux and Rolly Edgerly all scored in the loss. Jackson Estes had two assists and Colton Woods added one. Annabel Prochilo and Collin McIntyre combined for 26 saves for Spaulding, while Eli Allaire had 22 for STA.
Goffstown went 1-1 in the first week of the season. They skated past Mon-Fall Mountain 6-1 but dropped a 1-0 decision to Alvirne. In their victory over the Mon-Fall Mountain Huskies, The Grizzlies took a 3-0 lead in the first period on goals by Gavin Diodati, Tyler Lessard and Zack Tarrier. Owen St. Onge, AJ Tramontozzi and Dylan Ellbeg rounded out the scoring. Matt Coburn made 30 saves on 35 shots in the loss while Alex Veary made 20 saves to get the win.
Alvirne-Milford snuck by Goffstown 1-0 to improve to 2-0 on the season. Bryce Larco got the game’s only goal with the assist going to James Nemeth. Kian Corcoran had 42 saves in the Alvirne-Milford goal for the shutout. In their first game of the season, Alvirne-Milford took down Lebanon-Stevens-Mascoma, 5-1. Brandon Callahan had two goals and an assist, while Braydon Atwood had a goal and two assists. Bryce Larco had a goal and an assist and James Nemeth had a goal. Kian Corcoran recorded his first career varsity win in his first career start for the Admirals.
DIVISION 3
The expectations are high for Pembroke-Campbell and they didn’t disappoint in their first week of the season. PAC took advantage of a hat trick by Cam Plumb in a 4-1 victory over Kingswood. Casey Fuller added a goal of his own and Caden Mix chipped in with two helpers. Liam Cripps had 15 saves for PAC. Grayson Gilpatrick scored Kingswood’s only goal with Nate Clos and Austin Emerson getting the assists. Jacob Dubuc made 31 saves on 35 shots for the Knights.
PAC took on John Stark-Hopkinton-Hillsborough and skated to a 2-1 win to improve to 2-0 on the season. Cam Plumb continued his furious pace adding a goal and an assist. Alex Hanson also contributed a goal and an assist in the win. Gavin Currier recorded an assist. Liam Cripps turned away 20 shots in the win. Trey Travers put John Stark-Hopkinton-Hillsboro on the board with assists going to Kip Hedquist and Ryan Podsadowski. Tim Sommer had 28 saves for JS/H/H.
Berlin-Gorham’s Jamison Walsh opened the season with three goals and an assist in B-G’s 6-0 win over Sanborn-Epping. Dillon Boucher added a goal and two assists while Brady Poulin and Jason Sweatt both added one goal. Hudson Goulet added two assists. Kolin Melanson picked up where he left off recording 14 saves for the shutout win.
The Mountaineers improved to 2-0 behind the two-goal effort from Michael Cote Jr in a 4-0 win over Kennett. Cam Pake added a goal and an assist and Brady Poulin also scored. Kolin Melanson had 15 saves in his second consecutive shutout.
Berlin-Gorham finished their opening week with a 2-1 win over Hollis Brookline-Derryfield and moved to 3-0 overall. Alex Gertz had the Warriors’ lone goal, unassisted and Rachel Irving was solid in goal with an amazing 53 saves.
Kingswood began their season on a positive note knocking off the defending champs, Belmont-Gilford, 3-1. James Rogers, Devin McEvoy, and Austin Emerson all found the back of the net for the Knights. Evan Guerin tallied the only goal for B-G. Jacob Dubuc got his first win of the season, stopping 16 shots. Carson McGreevy blocked 23 shots in the loss.
After a loss to PAC that evened their record, Kingswood then took on Kearsarge-Plymouth and came away with a 3-2 win to improve to 2-1. Austin Emerson stayed red hot putting up another two goals and Jackson O’Keefe buried one of his own. Grayson Gilpatrick and Devin McEvoy each had an assist. For K-P, Jack Swanson scored his third goal of the season and Noah Fullerton added one of his own. Asher Smith stopped 16 of 19 in the loss.
Kearsarge-Plymouth had goals from four different players in a season-opening 4-3 win over John Stark-Hopkinton-Hillsborough. Ryder Francis, Nolan Fullerton, Brennan Johnson, and Jack Swanson all put home their first goals of the season. Charlie Cushing added two assists and Owen Garzia backstopped K-P with 20 saves. Luis Gagnon and Kip Hedquist both scored for the General Hawks. Tad Stokes and Trey Tavers each added two assists. Lucas Arlen had 16 saves in the defeat.
Hollis Brookline-Derryfield toppled Kearsarge-Plymouth, 4-1 in their first game of the season. Alex Gertz led the way with a goal and an assist while Charlie Dee and Alex May also scored. Kyle Sanborn had the other assist for HB-D. Rachel Irving stood tall stopping 25 shots in the win. Jack Swanson scored the lone goal for K-P and Owen Garzia had 19 saves in the loss.
Adam Riberio had two goals and Sean Ellis and Brayden Mercier both chipped in with one apiece in Belmont-Gilford’s 4-0 win over Laconia-Winnisquam-Interlakes. Evan Guerin notched two assists and Jaxson Embree and Nate Gerbig each had one. Nolan LaFrance recorded his first shutout of the season.
Kennett traveled south to take on Sanborn-Epping and left with a 9-2 win. Robbie Murphy’s five-point night (3G 2A) sparked the offense. The Eagles also got big nights from Noah Deyak (1G 3A) and Gabe Shaw (1G 2A). Cooper Coleman, Aiden Lane, Nolan Proulx all had a goal and Adam Lopashanski added a goal and an assist. The goaltender tandem of Zach Moore and Tanner Smith combined for 19 saves. Damien Letendre had 32 saves in the loss for Sanborn-Epping.
