Michael Charles “Mike” Bradley, 47, of Concord, NH passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones at Granite VNA Hospice House.
Born on June 28, 1976, in Concord, NH, Mike was a beloved husband to Miiko and a devoted and proud father to their daughter, Maia. He was the son of William Bradley and Ann Bradley Hébert, both of Concord. Mike had a close-knit family, and he will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, in addition to his cherished friends.
Mike was a friend to all and nurtured those friendships throughout his short life. His work colleagues often sought out his help, knowing they could depend on him to solve any issue. He was known for his honesty, sincerity, and creativity. Above all, he was extremely loving towards his wife and daughter, and he planned in detail all of their family adventures including with their beloved pup, Jakobe.
In his youth, Mike excelled in various sports. He was a member of the 1988 Concord National Little League NH State Baseball Championship Team. Mike was an excellent skier and snowboarder at a very early age. At Concord High School, he played varsity soccer and co- captained the boys’ tennis team, winning the 1995 Class L tennis championship. He went on to play college men’s tennis at Plymouth State University, receiving the esteemed Panther Award as a senior. Throughout the last 18 years, Mike became an admired triathlete, always striving to be on the podium in each race, and certainly accomplished that goal multiple times. His proudest tri achievement was placing number one for the entire Pitch Pine Triathlon at White Lake State Park.
In the Concord community, Mike played annually in the Black Ice Hockey tournament with his team, The Goons, and continued playing soccer in the local men’s league. You could also catch him biking on his long treks. During chemotherapy, he took on a challenge of biking 10 miles per day on each day in April 2022. He never missed a day! He passed on his love for sports to his family creating lasting memories together.
Michael had great band mates and played in two area bands. He drummed with passion until he could no longer this past year. His love for music was a huge interest and he could talk about any 80’s movie in detail.
Professionally, Mike was a Financial Manager in the NH Department of Health and Human Services. He brought his expertise and dedication to his work, making a positive impact on the lives of others.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 12pm to 3pm at The Barn at Bull Meadow, 63 Bog Rd, Concord, N. All who wish to join the family in honoring his memory are invited to attend. A luncheon will be served.
Mike Bradley will be remembered as a kind-hearted, loving husband, father, son, and friend. His legacy of friendship, dedication, and love for life will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
