Mass. Man Arrested On DWI Charge After Crash: Concord Police Log

CONCORD, NH — James Michael Curran Jr., 36, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:44 a.m. on Sept. 22 on two felony possession of a controlled drug charges. He was arrested after an incident in Terrill Park on Old Turnpike Road.

Mercy Mbarushimana, 20, of Weaver Place in Weare was arrested at 5:10 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2023, on a warrant as well as a felony attempted theft by unauthorized taking charge as well as a minor in possession of e-cigarettes and unlawful possession of alcohol violations. He was also arrested on a criminal trespass charge after an incident on Jennings Drive. Officers were sent to Market Basket at 108 Fort Eddy Road for a shoplifting incident where the suspect was attempting to leave. Police spoke with the suspect, who was accused of providing police with a false name, who said he bought some food and a 12-pack of Twisted Tea which was not paid for, an affidavit said. The suspect then returned to the store, grabbed a case of Twisted Tea, and said he attempted to leave because he thought they had paid for it despite him not having a receipt proving the purchase, the report said. The suspect said a store employee then confronted him. Mbarushimana was accused of identifying himself as “Japhet Ndayo,” with a birthdate of September 2001. The store employee was interviewed and said the woman Mbarushimana was with told a cashier she was not paying for the Twisted Tea, and the employee put it back. The woman completed the transaction and left the store. But after, an affidavit said Mbarushimana was accused of coming back into the store, walking to the beer aisle, grabbing a 12-pack, and attempting to leave without paying. The employee then stopped him from leaving, the officer wrote. The officer eyed security footage at the store and accused Mbarushimana of not paying for the 12-pack and he was arrested. During a pat down, the report said four e-cigarettes were found in his shorts pocket. The report said the woman later identified him by his proper and correct name. Mbarushimana also had an active warrant with $100 cash bail out of Concord District Court from mid-July and a violation of probation charge with $500 cash bail out of Merrimack County Superior Court. A check of his record found Mbarushimana convicted of theft in Concord District Court on June 22 and a felony receiving stolen property conviction in Merrimack County Superior Court on June 15. He was then taken straight to the county jail.

Hayden Consoletti, born 2003, of Loudon was arrested at 1:27 a.m. on Sept. 11 on driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated-second offense, felony possession of a controlled drug, transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor, and transport drugs in a motor vehicle charges as well as possession-use of tobacco products by a minor, unlawful possession-intoxication, and yellow-solid line violations. He was arrested after an incident on North Main Street.

Donald R. Beaudoin, born 1943, of Concord received a summons at 2:20 p.m. on Sept. 10 on a driving after revocation or suspension charge and an unofficial inspection-registration decal violation after an incident at the McDonald’s Restaurant at 111 Fisherville Road.

Matthew V. Mulcahy, born 1995, of Concord was arrested at 8:58 a.m. on Sept. 8 on a warrant after an incident on Liberty Street.

Zachary S. Boyer, born 1989, of Randolph, Massachusetts, was arrested at 1 a.m. on Sept. 8 on driving under the influence and conduct after an accident charges as well as an unsafe lane change violation after an incident on West Street. Joshua Ruben Reasor, born 1976, of Contoocook was arrested at 11:43 a.m. on Aug. 21 on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge and two manufacturing, selling official inspection-registration stickers violations after an incident at 202 N. State St.

Madison D. Hawkins, 25, of Laconia was arrested at 8:28 p.m. on Aug. 15 on a felony receiving stolen property-$1,001 to $1,500 charge. She was arrested after an incident at Walmart on Loudon Road. Hawkins was arraigned on Sept. 21 and is due back in Merrimack County Superior Court for a dispositional conference hearing on Nov. 22.

Thomas M. Pillsbury, 33, of Chestnut Street in Pittsfield was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 13 on theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000, criminal trespass, and loitering and prowling charges after an incident at Empire Pools at 105 Manchester St. and theft by unauthorized taking-$1,001 to $1,500 charge after an incident at Lowe’s on Fort Eddy Road. In the Lowe’s case, police were sent to the store for two past-tense thefts on July 6. The thefts occurred on July 1 and July 2. A loss prevention officer accused a man of stealing a tool kit, vacuum, portable AC unit, a wrench kit, and chainsaw, all valued at around $1,015.99. A photo of the suspect was circulated, and a sergeant and officer identified the suspect as Pillsbury. The officer tried to reach him “numerous times” but was unable to reach him and reported his cellphone disconnected on July 30. A warrant was issued against him the next day.

Kenneth John Lewis, 29, of Concord was arrested at 5:53 p.m. on Aug. 12 on simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault charges. He was arrested after an incident at Rollins Park on Broadway.

Jonathan P. McCormack, born 1988, of Concord was arrested on a bench warrant at 12:20 a.m. on Aug. 12 after an incident at the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street.
