The Concord High School field hockey team advanced to the Division I tournament quarterfinals with a 3-1 win over visiting Timberlane on Tuesday at Rollins Park.
With the win, sixth-seeded Concord moves on to face No. 3 Bishop Guertin on Friday at 2 p.m.
Alyssa McGonigle, Gracen Arndt and Nadia Hanna scored Concord’s goals.
Keely Johnston scored the lone goal for 11th-seeded Timberlane.
Also winning first-round games on Tuesday were No. 8 Bedford (4-1 over No. 9 Keene) and No. 10 Londonderry (1-0 over No. 7 Winnacunnet). Londonderry’s goal was scored by Ava Windisch, assisted by Ashley Leone and Alison Chambers, with 5:52 remaining in the game. Goalie Abbigail Cook made seven saves for the Lancers.
Bedford advances to face No. 1 Dover at 3 p.m. on Friday, while Londonderry will face No. 2 Windham at 3 p.m. on Friday.
