Concord Thief Accused Of Filling Cart, Walking Out Without Paying: Log

CONCORD, NH — Thomas M. Pillsbury, 33, of Pittsfield was arrested at 1:54 a.m. on April 26, 2023, on a bench warrant after an incident at Cumberland Farms on North Main Street. He was arrested again at 12:50 a.m. on April 27 on a bench warrant. In the second arrest, Pillsbury was charged after an incident at Speedway on Hall Street.

Lindsey Paglieroni, 40, of Hall Street Concord was arrested at 7:17 a.m. on April 26 on a felony theft by unauthorized taking-$1,001 to $1,500 charge. Around 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2022, police were sent to Target on D’Amante Drive for a report of a theft incident involving around $1,044 in items, including a hoverboard, a vacuum cleaner, a floor cleaning machine, and an electric bike. An employee shared video surveillance from the day before of a woman loading the items into a cart and then walking out of the store without paying for the items, an affidavit stated. The woman entered a Chevy Impala and left the area, the report said. The officer noted there appeared to be a passenger in the car. The officer traced back the vehicle’s owner, a woman in Epsom, and called her. The woman was questioned about whether she was at Target and she said she was not, but she had lent her car to a woman named Lindsey with “Kool-Aid red hair,” the report stated. Epsom police were contacted, and they provided more information about Paglieroni — including “multiple warrants” Epsom police had for her, an affidavit said. When provided a photo of the woman from the surveillance footage from Target, the Epsom officer confirmed it was her, the report said, adding it also matched her NH DMV photo. On Jan. 16, the officer spoke with Paglieroni, who was being held at the New Hampshire State Prison for Women in Concord, about the incident, but she denied being involved, claiming it was another woman, the report said. Later, an affidavit said the car’s owner confirmed Paglieroni was the woman she lent the car to that day. A warrant was issued on March 16. Paglieroni was arraigned on April 26 and reappeared in superior court on April 29. She is a felon due to a theft conviction from Nashua 20 years ago.

Miles Arthur Chadwick Anderson, 33, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 5:41 p.m. on April 24 on two felony drug possession charges. He was also charged with criminal trespass after an incident a Simplicity Hair Studio on South Main Street. In the drug possession incident, officers were sent to The Friendly Kitchen on South Commercial Street after someone at the facility called the police to let them know Anderson was there, eating dinner, and knew they had an active warrant. The reporting officer arrived, made contact with Anderson, who he recognized “from previous encounters, and requested he leave the facility so he could be arrested on the warrant. Anderson, the officer wrote, complied. During a pat down, three baggies were found in his pocket — one empty, but the two others had “remnants of drugs” that could be seen “clearly inside the bag,” an affidavit said. The drugs appeared to be methamphetamine and fentanyl-heroin, the officer wrote. Later, Anderson was accused of admitting the baggies contained meth and heroin. When asked who sold him the drugs, “Miles was, at first, unwilling to speak,” but recanted later, the affidavit said, attempting to strike a deal to get personal recognizance instead of going to the county jail. Later, he refused bail services and was taken to county. Anderson, who has many active cases, is back in superior court for a competency hearing on May 22.
