Erika Poisson, 41, of Endicott Street in Laconia was arrested at 3:36 a.m. on July 14 on felony possession of a controlled drug and transport drugs in a motor vehicle charges as well as a bench warrant. Around 1:45 a.m. on May 10, an officer ran a check on a 2013 Nissan Rogue at a gas pump at the Speedway on Hall Street. The SUV’s owner, Poisson, came back with a criminal trespass warrant, $500 cash, out of Concord District Court from March 22. The officer matched the woman at the pump to Poisson and pulled her over on the northbound Interstate 93 onramp at Water Street. The driver was confirmed to be Poisson and the warrant was confirmed but she did not have the $500, so she was arrested, a report said. A second officer requested a tow and conducted an inventory search of the SUV. While checking a purse on the floor of the SUV, “a green colored coin purse (fell) out of the purse,” and the officer heard “what sounded like a glass rattle as the coin purse fell,” an affidavit said. The officer wrote there were two glass pipes, one was broken, and a large butane torch, the report said. A small glass jar also contained crystal-like shards believed to be methamphetamine as well as white-colored nitroglycerin pills, the report said. At police headquarters, the officer wrote the shards field test confirmed the presence of meth. Metallic knuckles were also reportedly found inside the SUV. Poisson was accused of denying having any drugs, did not comment on the metallic knuckles, and “expressed concern” the SUV was searched without her consent, the report said.
